Indie managing $245 million switches to Raymond James from Ameriprise

Hendel Wealth Management Group and its three-adviser team are based in Smithtown, N.Y.

Jeffrey Hendel, whose Hendel Wealth Management Group manages $245 million, has switched the affiliation of his business to Raymond James from Ameriprise Financial. [More:See more adviser moves in InvestmentNews' Advisers on the Move database.] Mr. Hendel is joined in the move by advisers Morgan Weil, Rinaldo Crassa and Peter Halliwell, as well as the group's four-person service and administrative team. Mr. Hendel had been associated with Ameriprise and a predecessor since 1997.
