Morgan Stanley team managing $520 million goes indie with Raymond James
Three-adviser team creates IronRidge Wealth Management in Basking Ridge, N.J.

Three advisers who managed $520 million in assets at Morgan Stanley in Basking Ridge, N.J., have created an independent firm and affiliated with Raymond James. Giovanni Duran, Joseph Cataldo and Nick Penna have formed IronRidge Wealth Management Group. Joining them is their client services manager, Lauren Lamartine. (More:See more adviser moves in InvestmentNews' Adviser on the Move database.) Mr. Duran began his professional career more than 20 years ago at Gibraltar Securities. In 2002, he joined Smith Barney, which was acquired by Morgan Stanley in 2008. Mr. Cataldo began his career in 1990 at Halpert & Co., and joined Smith Barney in 1997. Mr. Penna joined Morgan Stanley and the team in 2011.
