F.L. Putnam acquires Financial Focus and $275 million in AUM

Acquisition adds presence in Wolfeboro, N.H., to firm's New England footprint.

F.L. Putnam Investment Management has acquired Financial Focus, a financial planning and wealth management firm in Wolfeboro, N.H., that manages $275 million in assets.

The entire Financial Focus team will join F.L. Putnam, the company said in a release. The firm has four offices across New England, 47 employees and $2.1 billion in assets under management. The combined business will be headquartered in Wellesley, Mass.

Financial Focus was founded in 1995 by Susan MacMichael John, who was recently named one of the Top 20 Women to Watch by InvestmentNews.
