Future Proof, the business-to-business events organizer that broke the mold with its monster gatherings over the past two years, has unveiled plans for its largest and most expansive conference yet.
Set to take place in Miami Beach from March 16 to 19 next year, the Future Proof Citywide event is poised to blow up the investment management conference scene in the US, expanding across more than 25 hotels and the iconic South Beach area.
The conference will be hosted directly on the beachfront next to Lummus Park, extending from 6th to 10th streets, thanks to special permission from the City of Miami Beach. The setup promises to cement Future Proof Citywide as the event with the largest physical presence in the sector's history.
Matt Middleton, co-founder and CEO of Future Proof, emphasized the event’s scope.
"We reinvented what wealth management conferences could be with the launch of the Future Proof Festival. Now, we are going to do the same for the investment management space," he said. "With Future Proof Citywide, we're breaking down the walls to unite the entire investment management ecosystem."
The anticipated attendance is over 2,500 participants, including 1,300 key asset allocators. The event aims to facilitate interactions among leading voices in investment and wealth management, with more than 25,000 pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings, hundreds of roundtables, and 50 networking opportunities.
"The investment management industry is never going to be the same,” Josh Brown, CEO of Ritholtz Wealth Management and co-creator of the event, declared in a statement.
“We're bringing together wealth managers, institutions, private equity, venture capital, and every other corner of the investment management market, and we're doing it outside, literally on South Beach,” Brown said. “You will learn more, do more, grow more, and make more connections at this event than at any other event next year."
This event has already garnered significant interest from a who’s who of the asset management, fintech, and financial services industry. The list of more than 30 launch partners includes prominent names like Advyzon, Carlyle Group, Dimensional Fund Advisors, Franklin Templeton, JP Morgan Asset Management, State Street Global Advisors, and Vanguard.
