National Financial Partners Corp. of New York has tapped a new president and chief operating officer for its independent-contractor broker-dealer, NFP Securities Inc. of Austin, Tx. Daniel Young will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the broker-dealer. The firm reported $966.3 million in gross revenue last year in the InvestmentNews survey, ranking it third among firm and broker-dealer networks in terms of gross revenue. Most recently, Mr. Young was president and CEO of NYLife Securities LLC of New York.
