Northern Trust Asset Management has hired a former Goldman Sachs Asset Management leader as its global head of product strategy.
Xiangrong (Sharon) Jin, Ph.D, has more than two decades of industry experience including senior leadership roles in portfolio strategy and client portfolio management at GSAM, and will focus on driving innovation, achieving scalable growth, and designing client-centric solutions.
Jin’s product strategy oversight will be across all asset classes investment strategies, vehicles, and geographies.
Reporting to NTAM global head of product Paula Kar, she will also work with the firm’s investment and distribution teams to fuel product development and commercialization.

As NTAM continues to innovate and grow product offerings, Sharon’s leadership of the global product strategy organization will enable us to provide our clients with best-in-class investment solutions designed to meet and exceed their goals,” Kar said.
Northern Trust Asset Management manages more than $1.2 trillion in assets as of June 30, 2024.
