Team managing $571 million at Merrill Lynch moves to Stifel
Two-rep, five-person group joins firm in Sugar Land, Texas.

A five-person team that managed $571 million in assets at Merrill Lynch in Sugar Land, Texas, has moved to Stifel, Nicolaus. The group, headed by advisers Bart Reese and Zachary Williams, has opened a new office for Stifel in the Houston suburb, which Mr. Reese will manage. (More: See more adviser moves in InvestmentNews' Adviser on the Move database.) Mr. Reese was a veteran Merrill Lynch adviser, starting his career there in 1991. Mr. Williams began his career in 2000 at Primevest Financial Services. He moved to LPL in 2002 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2003. The team's other members are George Reese, a portfolio analyst, and client relationship managers Theresa Black and Kendall Elkins.
