TradePMR, which provides technology and custodial services to registered investment advisors, said it’s partnering with FP Transitions, a succession planning firm, to provide consulting services to advisors on the TradePMR Fusion platform.
The consulting service aims to help RIAs and breakaways with their organizational structure, compensation and entity design.
According to a statement, FP Transitions works with thousands of firms each year on succession planning.
“Optimal succession planning can take up to 15 years to design and implement,” Scott Leak, director of business development at FP Transitions, said in the statement. “We believe our data proves that firm value declines significantly when succession planning is delayed.”
Carson has fully acquired another firm in Florida, while Simon Quick Advisors finds its third perfect-fit partner in a Las Vegas-based boutique.
