Veteran Wells Fargo adviser heads to RBC

James M. Aid is the first financial adviser hired at RBC's Nashville office.

James M. Aid has left Wells Fargo Advisors, where he managed $86 million in assets, to join RBC Wealth Management Financial Advisors in its new Nashville office. Mr. Aid is the latest in a string of employees leaving Wells Fargo. Mr. Aid is a 20-year veteran of the brokerage industry and worked at seven different firms prior to RBC. He started his career at Wells Fargo in 2008. In 2017, he produced $1.3 million in fees and commissions. (More: "Wells Fargo loses veteran $500 million team to SunTrust") "We're always looking for good advisers that fit in with the client first culture," said Jonell Rusinko, manager of external communications at RBC. A Wells Fargo spokesperson was not immediately available for comment.
