Healy resigns post as NAIFA chief

John Healy has resigned his position as chief executive of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the organization announced today.

John Healy has resigned his position as chief executive of the National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors, the organization announced today. Mr. Healy resigned “to pursue other interests,” NAIFA said in a statement. He had headed the organization, which represents 200,000 insurance agents and associates, since 2007. Susan Waters, formerly NAIFA's deputy chief executive since October 2007, has been named acting CEO.
