The Association for Advanced Life Underwriting has created a political action committee in an effort to represent financial advisers and life insurance representatives better when legislation of interest comes up on Capitol Hill, the organization announced. "In my time with AALU, we've been fortunate to consistently increase our Washington presence, and the new PAC should help us continue our upward trajectory," Marc Cadin, AALU’s vice president of legislative affairs, said in a statement. Washington-based AALU represents roughly 2,000 life and health insurance agents, and financial advisers, across the United States.
