Pershing LLC today made annuities available to its introducing broker-dealer customers through the Subscribe annuity platform. These annuities are from Principal Financial Group, Symetra Life Insurance Co., and companies that are affiliated with MetLife Investors. Annuities from the carriers can be viewed on Pershing’s NetExchange Pro online account management platform, as well as on monthly statements. This will permit investment professionals to maintain annuity contracts. Participating introducing broker-dealers, which receive securities and then forward them to carrying broker dealers, have access to 90% of the top 20 annuity carriers through the Subscribe platform. “We will continue to work closely with the insurance industry’s leading organizations to provide our customers with the highest quality services and solutions to help them enhance their competitive position and successfully grow their businesses,” Ron Fiske, managing director of the product management and development group at Pershing, said in a statement.
