Dreyfus appoints new top management

John Baum named chief executive, J. Charles Cardona to be president when Tom Eggers retires.

The Dreyfus Corp. of New York has named John Baum its chief executive and J. Charles Cardona its president. They will replace Tom Eggers, who held both titles, when Mr. Eggers retires at the end of March. Jon Little contines as chairman of the fund company. Mr. Baum and Mr. Cardona are currently vice chairmen. Dreyfus is a unit of The Bank of New York Mellon Corp.
