Finra bars no-show former Raymond James bank broker

Edward Zadworny failed to provide information in connection with annuity sales.
NOV 22, 2017

The Financial Industry Regulatory Authority Inc. has barred Edward M. Zadworny for failing to comply with an information request in connection with the former broker's sales activities. From December 2015 to November 2016, Mr. Zadworny was a bank employee registered with Raymond James. On Nov. 9, 2016, the firm terminated Mr. Zadworny's registration, stating that the broker had violated his employment agreement with the bank by failing "to provide outside annuity sales transaction information, including commissions received" to the bank. That prompted a Finra investigation, for which the self-regulator had requested information from Mr. Zadworny, who began his career in 1988 at Prudential Insurance. He was with that firm and Pruco Securities for 28 years, joining MML Investors in 2012 and Raymond James in 2015. Mr. Zadworny briefly rejoined MML in 2016, but left in Feburary and is no longer employed in the securities industry.
