A registered investment advisor firm in the Midwest is being acquired by Pensionmark, the retirement specialists business of World Insurance Associates.
The firm, Financial Solutions, was founded 30 years ago and has assets under management of approximately $950 million. It will join the World financial services division led by Troy Hammond, CEO of Pensionmark.
“This is a very strategic acquisition for us since we are expanding Pensionmark/World’s presence in the Midwest and we have a strategic focus nationally to expand within the wealth management space in general,” explained Hammond.
Pensionmark was itself acquired by World Insurance Associates in 2022 and its network represents hundreds of advisors and staff across the U.S. with thousands of retirement plan and wealth management clients. Its specialist network includes those focused on defined contribution, defined benefit, terminal funding, not-for-profit, wealth management, and executive/deferred compensation.
Financial Solutions is led by Tim McGrath as managing partner, with partners William Kenton, Kenneth Stuckert and Horace Seely-Brown. It has offices in Waukesha, Wisconsin; New Berlin, Wisconsin; and North Barrington, Illinois.
“Joining a strong growth partner like Pensionmark enables us to further elevate our client experience while simultaneously allowing us to maintain our values, vision and existing team to continue delivering the exceptional service our clients expect,” said McGrath.
