RBC Wealth Management has added KPM Wealth Advisory Group in Dallas from Stifel, Nicolaus & Company.
The six-person team had overseen close to $1.6 billion in client assets at their previous firm and comprises managing directors Donald Kinsey, Travis Moss and Matthew Pickett, along with senior financial associates Shawn Ezzo and Stephanie Mareth, and client associate Jacob Gross.
The team has worked together for more than 25 years and built its practice around ultra-high-net-worth clients, particularly business owners with complex financial needs.
Kinsey and Moss started out in credit and middle markets investment banking, while Pickett brings 43 years of industry experience; together the three lead advisors carry over a century of combined tenure. Their expertise spans credit and lending, complex transactions and tax-aware strategies.
RBC said the team was drawn by its credit and lending capabilities and its Echelon platform, both seen as suited to the complexity of KPM's client base.
"I am thrilled to have this team join our Dallas office,” said Courtney Duphorne, Texas North Complex Director at RBC Wealth Management. “The KPM Wealth Advisory Group has built their practice on serving UHNW clients at the highest level, and RBC has the balance sheet and expertise to support that growth. We are proud to welcome this team of professionals who share our unwavering commitment to their clients.”
