Doherty to lead PMFM RIA firm

Judson P. Doherty will be responsible for the delivery of PMFM’s 401k Toolbox service.

PMFM Inc. announced today that Judson P. Doherty has been named president of the registered investment advisory firm effective Jan. 1, 2008. Previously, Mr. Doherty had been chief financial officer. He will be responsible for all operations of the firm including oversight of the firm’s investment department and sales and marketing initiatives, as well as the delivery of PMFM’s 401k Toolbox service. “Jud was already running PMFM on a day-to-day basis, and doing a great job of it”, said Tim Chapman, chairman and chief executive, in a statement. Previously, Mr. Chapman also held the title of president. He will remain chairman and chief executive. PMFM is based in Athens, Ga, and has built a system of managed accounts to offer 401(k) participants investment advice. “I have never been more optimistic about the future of our firm. Clients can access PMFM’s services through our separate accounts, the PMFM family of funds, or 401k Toolbox," Mr. Doherty said in a statement.
