The dollar sank to an all-time low against the euro this morning, on mounting concerns about continued weakness in the financial sector. The euro reached a high of $1.6036 on the dollar early in the day, marking its highest level since the European currency began trading in January 1999. The euro eased back to $1.5917 on the dollar at 1:34 p.m. EST.
