FundVest adds Calamos to fund platform

Pershing has added Calamos Asset Management to its FundVest no-transaction-fee mutual fund platform.

Pershing LLC has added Calamos Asset Management Inc. to its FundVest no-transaction-fee mutual fund platform. Mutual funds from Calamos Investments are available to Pershing's introducing broker-dealer customers and the clients they serve and to independent registered investment advisers and their clients through Pershing's affiliate, Pershing Advisor Solutions LLC. Pershing's FundVest mutual fund platform contains 2,200 mutual funds, managed by more than 170 fund companies. Calamos, which is based in Naperville, Ill., offers equity, fixed-income, convertible and alternative investment strategies. Calamos managed $46.7 billion in assets as of Sept. 30. Pershing LLC, a Jersey City, N.J.-based subsidiary of The Bank of New York Mellon Corp., is a provider of financial business solutions to more than 1,150 institutional and retail financial organizations and independent registered investment advisers. The Bank of New York Mellon Corp. has more than $20 trillion in assets under custody and administration.
