Hightower, the Chicago-based registered investment adviser that invests in other RIA firms, has taken a stake in Private Vista, an RIA with offices in Chicago and Oak Brook, Illinois, that manages $1.5 billion.
Details of the arrangement were not disclosed.
Private Vista was established in 2016 with the merger of two advisory businesses. It currently has 34 employees, including 20 advisers.
The fintech giant is doubling down on its strategy to reach independent advisors through a newly created leadership role.
