Investors Capital Advisory Services, the registered investment adviser of Investors Capital Holdings, has formed a strategic partnership with Biondo Investment Advisors, an institutional money manager. Under the agreement, the sales team at Lynnfield, Mass.-based Investors Capital Advisory Services can distribute Biondo funds and separate accounts to Investors Capital Corp.-affiliated financial advisers as well as advisers at other outside broker/dealers through fee-based accounts. The new initiative, through Investors Capital Advisory, gives investors an opportunity to use no-load mutual funds that are not being distributed by many other broker-dealers, said Kenneth Aulbach, senior vice president of advisory product sales and distribution, and head of the investment committee for ICAS. ICAS provides advisory services, products, services and support to more than 700 registered representatives at Investors Capital Corp. and oversees $750 million in assets. Biondo Investment Advisors of Milford, Pa. has $475 million in assets under management.
