An $8.2 billion AUM independent RIA has bolstered its management team as it positions itself for further growth.
San Francisco headquartered Perigon Wealth Management has hired experienced executives from LPL Financial and Cresset Partners in its latest leadership hires following the recent addition of a new chief financial officer and two newly created growth-focused roles.
Jonathan Robbins joins the rapidly growing firm as general counsel and chief compliance officer having held a senior vice-president and CCO role for LPL Financial’s advisory businesses.
His financial services career path began at Morgan Stanley in San Francisco where he was executive director and senior counsel. Previously he was an attorney with the international law firms Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Patton Boggs LLP.
“The RIA space has developed a great deal in the past five years, and I’ve been incredibly impressed with the rapid and sustained growth of Perigon,” he said. “But more impressive has been its dedication to delivering flexibility to its advisors and incredible service to clients. I look forward to working closely with [Perigon CEO Arthur Ambarik] and the entire executive team to build a legal and compliance program that will enable Perigon to achieve its goals.”
Meanwhile, Michael Mignosi has been hired as director of organic growth, having previously been director of marketing at Cresset Partners where he established a digital advertising program and introduced a successful customer retention program.
The newly created role is focused on supporting and identifying organic growth opportunities for the firm’s advisors and will draw on his more than a decade of experience in developing and implementing strategies in wealth management, real estate, technology, and branding.
Mignosi will report to Maria Daley, Perigon’s head of advisor success and integration who joined the firm in May.
“We strive to create a culture of partnership among our leadership team that serves our advisors' best interests,” Ambarik said. “We worked closely with our private-equity partner Constellation Wealth Capital to identify the right people with the experience and potential to continue growing with our team. It was critical to find people who share Perigon’s core values of accountability, authenticity and positivity. Jonathan and Michael embody these characteristics, and we’re thrilled to have them both on board.”
