The 2025 Women to Watch Awards, hosted by InvestmentNews, is less than two months away. This annual event, now in its third year, is the ultimate recognition by InvestmentNews and the wealth management community that recognizes the achievements of women in all aspects of the industry.

The event, to be held at Tribeca 360 in New York City on October 21, is expected to be a star-studded affair to celebrate the women who have been the most important trailblazers who demonstrate leadership, passion, creativity, and willingness to help others along the way.

Last year, Gloria Garcia Cisneros of LourdMurray, who won the 2024 Rising Star of the Year award, provided the perfect reaction for the meaning of the moment. In thanking her grandmother and highlighting the values and sacrifices that guided her journey, she said, “For me, this award isn't just for me. It's for young women, for Latinas, immigrants who need to see that success is possible, even when the path isn’t clear.”

Looking ahead, Marianne Caswell, president of Park Avenue Securities at Guardian Life, noted the importance of the award, not just for women, but the entire wealth management industry. Caswell is a 2025 awardee for 'Executive Excellence,' and her firm is up for 'Employer of Choice.'

"I think one thing that's really important for firms like Park Avenue Securities and others in wealth management - it's about connecting with the client and supporting the client and their needs specifically and giving them financial confidence to be able to live out their goals..And with InvestmentNews, I think a combination of both the awards and what you guys do allows us to stay connected in the industry. What I think is great about it is its connection to the firms and advisors," Caswell said.
