Matt Romeo: Can't wait to start
JUN 26, 2014
"As my start date quickly approaches, I'm experiencing many different emotions. I'm nervous, a little scared, excited, humbled, but mostly anxious. I'm anxious to jump right in and to hit the ground running. I've been working towards this day since I set foot on Virginia Tech's campus, and now it is almost here. I always knew that I wanted to do something meaningful with my education. I wanted to give something back and help others pursue their life goals. Now I've earned the opportunity to do just that. The team at Gordon Asset Management has already embraced me with open arms and made me feel at home. The opportunity to get in the office and to work along side such an impressive group is humbling. My first year will be a whirlwind I'm sure. As the newest apprentice, I will have the opportunity to learn every aspect of the financial planning profession. Everything from back office work to investment research to client interaction and business development. Every day will be an opportunity to grow, learn, and to hone my skills. I can't wait!"
