Merrill Lynch team managing $262 million goes indie at Raymond James

Glen D. Smith and Robert L. Casey, who managed $262 million at Merrill Lynch with two associates, have gone independent and affiliated with Raymond James. The team will operate as Glen D. Smith & Associates in Flower Mound, Texas, which is just north of the Dallas-Ft. Worth airport. Mr. Smith began his career in financial services in 2004 at A.G. Edwards and moved to Merrill Lynch in 2007. Mr. Casey joined Edward Jones in 2009, moved to Wells Fargo in 2010 and joined Merrill Lynch in 2014.
