Merrill Lynch trio managing $463 million joins Ameriprise

Team switches firms but stays in Roseville, Calif.

Stan Leavitt, who managed $463 million in assets at the Roseville, Calif., office of Merrill Lynch, has joined the employee unit of Ameriprise Financial Services there with advisers David Pratt and Rachael Morton. Mr. Leavitt began his career at Sentra Securities in 1994, and after short stints with three other firms, joined Merrill Lynch in 1998. Mr. Pratt had been with Merrill Lynch since 2004, when he began his securities career. Ms. Morton began her career at Ameriprise in 2007. She was with Morgan Stanley from 2008 to 2015, before joining Merrill Lynch.
