&Partners lands $1B Illinois advisory team, MCF Advisors, Janney add new advisors
Wealth firms expand through recruitment and acquisition as advisor teams and assets shift to growing platforms.

&Partners has added Principality Private Wealth, an Arlington Heights, Illinois-based advisory practice overseeing approximately $1 billion in pre-hire assets under management.

The team, previously with Wells Fargo, is led by partners Andrew Buchta, Charles Collins, and Nicholas Bova and is supported by Katie Buchta, Mary Bronton, Brian Kotowski, Jennifer Hernandez, Ryan Seth, and Kate Buxton.

The move adds to the rapid growth of &Partners, which has expanded to 115 advisor practices representing approximately $56 billion in pre-hire assets. The firm has attracted teams from Ameriprise, Commonwealth Financial Network, Edward Jones, Merrill Lynch, Raymond James, UBS, and Wells Fargo Advisors.

Meanwhile, MCF Advisors, a Lexington, Kentucky-based registered investment advisor, has acquired Hoff Bujnoch & Associates, a Newport, Kentucky wealth management firm with approximately $250 million in assets under management.

The acquisition strengthens MCF’s presence in Northern Kentucky and adds to its financial planning and wealth management capabilities.

Led by Digger Bujnoch, Hoff Bujnoch & Associates operates with a planning-led, relationship-focused model. Bujnoch joins MCF as senior financial advisor and partner, and his full team will transition to the firm.

MCF, founded in 2004, oversees $4.68 billion in assets as of March 31, 2026.

Finally, Janney Montgomery Scott has also expanded its advisor roster, welcoming Shane Kelly to its Darien, Connecticut office as first vice president of wealth management.

Kelly joined from Oppenheimer and oversees more than $120 million in client assets. He brings 14 years of industry experience and provides clients with financial planning, investment management, retirement planning, and wealth preservation strategies.
