RMB Capital acquires VennWell

Deal adds $250 million in assets under management

RMB Capital, a diversified RIA firm headquartered in Chicago with more than $6.7 billion in assets under management, has acquired VennWell, a financial planning and investment management firm in Lake Forest, Ill., that manages $250 million in assets. The entire eight-person RIA firm, including Colleen Chandler, VennWell's founder and managing director, will join RMB, with the firm's office in Lake Forest becoming a new RMB location. VennWell was founded in 2002. RMB Capital, founded in 2005, serves high-net-worth individuals and provides institutional asset management services and retirement plan consulting.
