After receiving a significant multi-million dollar shot in the arm, Savvy Wealth has extended its 2024 advisor recruitment season with the addition of two experienced financial professionals in California and Illinois.

The firm announced Tuesday that Drew Martino and Daniel Moore have joined its RIA subsidiary, Savvy Advisors, which currently manages over $800 million in client assets nationwide, with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and families.

Martino and Moore are joining roughly a month after Savvy Wealth completed its $26.5 million Series A funding round, which the firm said it would use to bolster its AI-powered tech platform – a major draw for advisors since its founding in 2021 – strengthen its product and engineering teams, and recruit more advisors.

Martino, based in Los Angeles, brings over 20 years of experience in retirement planning, specializing in 403(b) plans for employees of schools, hospitals, and government entities. Prior to joining Savvy, he worked at Corebridge Financial and held positions at firms like Morgan Stanley and Bank of America.

Martino emphasized the importance of Savvy’s technology in improving client service. “Savvy’s tech-forward approach empowers me to increase efficiency, unlocking more time to educate my clients on the tax advantages of 403(b)s,” he said in a statement.

Moore, who joins from TIAA, is based in the Chicagoland area. With a background in managing approximately $800 million in client assets, Moore has extensive experience in retirement planning, estate planning, and investment management, particularly for higher education professionals and physicians.

"With its modern technology and a clear, structured approach, I’m confident that Savvy’s proprietary solutions will unify every aspect of my clients’ financial lives,” said Moore, who honed his retirement expertise at Fidelity, PNC, and AXA Advisors.

Savvy's recruitment aligns with its broader strategy to incorporate more tech-savvy advisors into its platform. Ritik Malhotra, CEO and founder of Savvy Wealth, noted, “We are intentional in choosing the right individuals to help advance our mission to reshape the wealth management industry.”

Savvy continues to provide advisors with tools such as its AI-powered CRM, Co-Pilot, and a proprietary investment management system designed to optimize tax loss harvesting and asset allocation, along with other resources.
