Resources Investment Advisors, a registered investment adviser and super office of supervisory jurisdiction, has affiliated with Triad Advisors, an independent broker-dealer that specializes in serving hybrid RIAs. In late January, as reported in InvestmentNews, the Overland Park, Kansas-based hybrid said it would be leaving LPL, but didn't say with which broker-dealer it would affiliate. In addition to its commission-based business, Resources Investment Advisors provides compliance and marketing support for 11 independent advisory practices that collectively support approximately $5 billion in client assets, Triad said in a release. The practices affiliated with Resources Investment Advisors concentrate on corporate retirement plans. Triad, headquartered in Atlanta, is a subsidiary of Ladenburg Thalmann Financial Services Inc.
