Bolstering its new parallel business for investment advisers, Commonwealth Financial Network has hired Matthew Chisholm, formerly head of practice management and consulting at Fidelity Clearing & Custody Solutions.
Mr. Chisholm will head RIA services and practice management at Commonwealth, a new position.
In his role, Mr. Chisholm will “ensure that the firm’s advisers have access to the consultants, programs and resources they need to build the scalable and sustainable business they want,” the company said in a release.
Commonwealth said that as of the end of January, 119 of its advisers had switched to a fee-only business model.
