Blaine Franklin, who managed $195 million at Edward Jones, has gone independent and affiliated with Raymond James in Rifle, Colorado.
Franklin joins Raymond James Financial Services as owner of Blaine P. Franklin Financial Services, where his team provides personalized wealth management to business owners, families, pre-retirees, retirees and individuals with sudden wealth, Raymond James said in a press release Monday. He is accompanied by client service associate Heather Franklin and office manager Kristin Rubin.
Franklin had spent his entire career in financial services, which began in 1999, at Edward Jones.
Most firms place a limit on advisors’ sales of alternative investments to clients in the neighborhood of 10% a customer’s net worth.
Those jumping ship include women advisors and breakaways.
