Utah duo managing $350 million joins LPL from Commonwealth

Andy Walker and Christian Covey, who managed $350 million at a practice affiliated with Commonwealth Financial, have launched their own firm, Walker Covey Wealth Advisors, and affiliated with LPL Financial.

The two, who are based in Orem, Utah, used LPL’s service package for breakaway brokers.

Walker has 18 years of experience, according to his IAPD profile. He had worked at Commonwealth since 2007, and started his career at Northwestern Mutual. Covey had worked at Commonwealth since 2019.

Rebecca McEntire will serve as director of client services for the new firm.
