World Investment Advisors and JPMorgan Private Bank both announced senior hires this week, adding leadership in finance and investment strategy.
World Investment Advisors, a division of World Insurance Associates, has appointed Tyler Mahoney as chief financial officer. Based in Santa Barbara, Calif., Mahoney will lead financial strategy, capital planning and operating oversight, with a remit that includes supporting acquisition activity and internal growth initiatives.
Mahoney brings more than two decades of experience in strategic finance roles within complex service organizations, including wealth management firms navigating rapid growth and transaction-heavy environments. Her background includes board-level financial reporting, integration work following acquisitions and the development of internal control frameworks.
She most recently served as senior vice president of channel strategy and operations at Osaic. Prior to that, she held the CFO role at Lincoln Financial Network, where she led merger and acquisition processes and modernized financial systems.
Mahoney follows the path of Ed Walters who was appointed as president of World Investment Advisors last October who also has Osaic and Lincoln Financial Network on his resume.
“Tyler’s proven experience in transformation, M&A and strategic finance makes her an exceptional addition to our leadership team. Her ability to connect financial insights to vision and execution will be instrumental as we continue to grow,” Walters said.
Meanwhile, at JPMorgan Private Bank, Kriti Gupta will join the Global Investment Strategy team in New York as a global investment strategist. Gupta will work alongside asset class specialists and portfolio managers to shape the firm’s economic outlook, market views and investment strategy communication for private bank clients.
Gupta arrives from Bloomberg, where she served as an anchor and correspondent, most recently hosting the network’s flagship morning show in London. Her experience spans market commentary, cross-asset reporting and interviews with senior corporate and political leaders.
Stephen Parker, global co-head of global investment strategy, said: “Kriti excels at synthesizing the forces shaping capital markets and global economic jurisdictions — translating complexity into the insight investors need to navigate today’s fast-moving environment. Her expertise will enhance our team’s ability to help clients anticipate change and identify opportunities.”
Grace Peters, also Global Co-Head, said: “Kriti's experience covering international markets strengthens our ability to deliver timely, relevant investment perspectives to clients across the globe.”
