Two advisers who managed more than $270 million at Janney Montgomery Scott have joined Merrill Lynch. The advisers are based in Merrill’s Bala Cynwyd, Pennsylvania, office in the Philadelphia suburbs.
Scott Nash had been with Janney since 1984, and earlier worked at Butcher and Singer Inc. and Prudential Bache Securities. Anthony Arot joined Janney in 2015.
Two staff members made the move along with Nash and Arot.
Blue Anchor Capital Management and Pickett also purchased “highly aggressive and volatile” securities, according to the order.
