Ameriprise Financial has partnered with Dalton Education to create a certification designed for those who assist members of the military and veterans.
The Certified Military Financial Advisor certification will be earned through a mix of training and learning development modules typically completed over the course of 40 to 50 hours, Ameriprise said in a press release Tuesday.
The course work will provide a deep understanding of the unique life circumstances and the benefits available to veterans, active-duty military personnel, reservists, National Guard members and their families.
The certification will be available exclusively to Ameriprise advisers through June 2024. From then on, the certification will be available to all qualifying advisers industrywide.
