Credit union managing $245 million goes to Raymond James

A solo adviser, along with seven staff members, runs the First Community Credit Union program in Houston, which had been affiliated with CUNA Brokerage Services.

First Community Wealth Advisors, the wealth management division of the First Community Credit Union in Houston, has switched its affiliation from CUNA Brokerage Services to the financial institutions division of Raymond James.

The program, which is led by Arthur Gordon, executive vice president of the credit union, and adviser Brian Turpen, along with seven administrative personnel, oversees $245 million in client assets.
