GReminders and Advisor CRM are sharpening their AI advantage as the two fintech firms each unveiled updates to help advisors make the most of their meetings.

GReminders rolls out AI notetaker and SMS features to Osaic

GReminders, a meeting automation platform designed for advisors, has expanded its relationship with Osaic to roll out AI-powered meeting support across the firm’s network of more than 11,000 financial professionals. The tools, which include an AI Notetaker and SMS Reminder system, are now approved for use by all Osaic-affiliated advisors.

The AI Notetaker provides real-time meeting transcription, auto-generated summaries, and follow-up content such as shareable notes and client emails. The tool also flags potential opportunities or next steps. GReminders' SMS Reminders function automatically sends text alerts to clients ahead of scheduled meetings to help reduce no-shows.

“Osaic’s mission is to provide best-in-class technology and resources that boost productivity and enable our financial advisors to focus on delivering exceptional client experiences,” Clayton Chandler, chief data and analytics officer at Osaic, said in a statement announcing the update. “We’re excited to support our network with next-generation tools so they can focus less on administrative work and more on client engagement.”

The tools are available as add-ons within the GReminders platform, with discounts offered to Osaic advisors. The system is designed to work alongside other existing practice management software without requiring major workflow changes.

GReminders' extended integration with Osaic comes on the heels of the firm unveiling a new billing capability for fee-based annuities on its platform, which the firm's platform management and product development leader Shannon Larson said "makes it easier to incorporate annuities into comprehensive financial plans without added complexity."

Advisor CRM releases RIA-focused meeting assistant

Meanwhile, Advisor CRM, a practice management platform built exclusively for RIAs, has introduced a fully embedded AI Meeting Assistant that is now included for free in all account tiers. The tool handles transcription, task creation, and client communication directly within the CRM environment, removing the need for third-party apps or data syncing.

Core features include in-platform transcription, personalized summaries, automated next-meeting agendas, and client-facing follow-up emails. Action items from meetings are converted into CRM tasks, and all activity is recorded for compliance tracking. Advisors can also edit any generated content and track those edits automatically.

“We are operations-driven at our core, so our AI notetaker needed to be more than just another add-on that merely transfers data between disconnected systems,” Ryan Borer, managing partner at Advisor CRM, said in a release. “Financial advisors in growth mode require sophisticated tools that help them regain valuable time.”

Advisor CRM’s platform supports the Model Context Protocol, which enables ChatGPT and Claude to access relevant CRM data in real time. Paid tiers offer Zoom and calendar integrations, email briefings before and after meetings, and centralized admin controls. The system is compatible with Google and Microsoft Suites, and integrates with other popular wealthtech platforms.

GReminders and Advisor CRM join a growing field of advisor tech firms deploying new AI capabilities to streamline client engagement, compliance, and follow-up, as demand rises for tools that cut down manual tasks in hybrid and remote advisory practices.
