The first two weeks of July have seen a steady expansion for Cetera Financial Group as it adds three cohorts of experienced professionals with a reported total of nearly $600 million in assets under administration.
On Thursday, the firm revealed that Rally Wealth and Benefits, led by a father-daughter advisor duo previously with Commonwealth, has affiliated with Cetera via Summit Financial Networks.
The nine-person team, headed by Bruce Glenn and Kristina Strickland, most recently reported overseeing more than $325 million in assets. Glenn, the firm's president, highlighted the appeal of Cetera’s comprehensive resources and boutique feel.
"In particular, we are eager to take advantage of Cetera's Retirement Solutions, which we know has been accelerating recently,” Glenn, an 18-year veteran of the industry, said in a statement.
The Overland Park-Kansas based team at Rally Wealth and Benefits includes seven other members: VP of operations Carrie White, VP of qualified plans Joe Michael, senior wealth manager Neil Connolly, senior relationship manager Melissa Sampley, relationship manager Bailey Lucito, and associates Lisa Kennell and Danica Murdock-Colin.
The team aims to continue offering comprehensive financial services tailored to their clients' varying life stages.
Earlier on Tuesday, Steven Dalton joined Cetera Advisor Networks in New Hampshire via Cetera Wealth Partners. Dalton, who previously managed $146 million in assets at Cambridge, provides holistic financial planning and wealth management for his client base of mainly retirees and people working toward early retirement.
“I've appreciated partnering with a broker-dealer that makes me feel like more than a number, while still providing me with a far-reaching infrastructure of services and products,” Dalton said.
Prior to that, Cetera began the month with the arrival of another advisor duo, 34-year veteran advisor Paul Seymour and Nicole Parker, who joined Cetera Advisors via Summit Financial Networks. The two previously reported administering $113 million in assets at Cadaret Grant & Co in New York.
Their new firm, Financial Services, aims to maintain a close-knit community feel – something Seymour said they’ve been aiming for since Cadaret announced its merger with PE-backed Atria in 2018 – while leveraging Cetera's extensive resources.
"With Cetera Advisor Networks, not only do we get the family-like experience of belonging to Summit Financial Network, we also have access to Cetera's world-class resources," Seymour stated.
