Bernicke Wealth Management, an Altoona, Wisconsin-based hybrid managing $530 million, has switched its broker-dealer and registered investment advisory platforms to LPL Financial.

Bernicke earlier used Triad Advisors, part of Advisor Group, as its broker-dealer and TD Ameritrade as its custodian.

Bernicke will affiliate with LPL through Great Valley Advisor Group, an office of supervisory jurisdiction.

The firm was started two decades ago by Ty Bernicke, the president and senior wealth manager, with his father. The team includes four advisers, as well as paraplanners, tech specialists and client services support staffers.
