LPL Financial said Thom Maher, who oversaw roughly $440 million in assets at Merrill Lynch, has affiliated with LPL Strategic Wealth Services and is launching a firm, Maher Wealth Management, in Phoenix.
“We believe LPL provides an enormous catalog of services, as well as a long history of financial stability, and we’re very excited about the future of our business,” Maher said in a statement.
According to his BrokerCheck report, Maher had been affiliated with Merrill since 1997.
Joining Maher in the move are client services manager DeAnn Welch and client services specialist Mary Mann.
