Advisors managing combined assets of almost $800 million have joined Osaic, with new firms in Ohio and Oklahoma.

Firstly, veteran advisor Bart Butler, CFP, CPA, has chosen the independent broker-dealer’s OSJ Signature Equity Partners for the launch of Rightside Financial. Butler and his team previously managed approximately $400 million with VALIC Financial Advisors.

With more than 25 years in the industry, Butler, based on Columbus, Ohio, was with AIG Retirement for 23 years before it was spun off as Corebridge Financial in 2022.

“This move gives me the freedom to serve clients with great focus, not chasing trends, but walking with people through the real twists and turns of life,” Butler shared in a LinkedIn post.

Meanwhile, Osaic has also welcomed female-led firm ArrowPoint Wealth Advisors with offices in Oklahoma City and Edmond, Oklahoma. The new firm manages client assets of $379 million.

Advisors Mandy Dollar, CRPC, co-founder and chief executive officer, and Jennifer Wallis, co-founder and chief growth officer, are longtime friends. Dollar was previously with MidFirst Bank and holds a Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor designation allowing her to serve athletes and clients in the entertainment industry. Wallis holds the Behavioral Financial Advisor designation.

“Jennifer and I created a firm rooted in the belief that money should be empowering, not overpowering,” explains Dollar. “We’re thrilled to have Osaic’s support as we embark on this journey. Their dynamic platform equips us with the tools and resources needed to deliver the highest-quality service.”

Osaic recently announced a new addition to its Supported Independence W-2 channel as it welcomed Virtus Wealth Solutions, an all-women advisory firm based in Morgantown, West Virginia.
