Wells Fargo team with $240 million in assets goes indie with LPL

A team of advisors that oversaw $240 million in client assets at Wells Fargo Advisors has affiliated with LPL Strategic Wealth Services, LPL’s breakaway solution, the firm announced Monday.

Bruce Pienton and Scott O’Mara are launching Bridgewright Wealth Partners in Grand Rapids, Michigan. They’re joined in the move by Bradley Day, their director of client relations. 

Pienton has 39 years of experience, according to his BrokerCheck report, and had been affiliated with Wells Fargo since 1999. O’Mara has 11 years of experience and joined Wells Fargo in 2020.

According to a statement, Pienton and O’Mara interviewed more than a dozen firms before deciding on LPL.
