NewEdge Wealth has added a new office in Atlanta, Georgia, with the hire of a team formerly with J.P. Morgan Wealth Management.

Leading the office is Roland Pritchett as managing director, who is joined by wealth manager Andrew Noble and an experienced client associate. At J.P. Morgan, the team operated as The Pritchett Group.

A second-generation advisor, Pritchett has a focus on ultra-high-net-worth clients, entrepreneurs and private business owners. He's been in the industry for more than 30 years, having started his career at Kidder Peabody, now UBS, and returning to UBS for a second period later in his career.

Pritchett may get a sense of déjà vu as he has worked with current NewEdge Wealth president John Straus before – and was involved in opening an Atlanta office with him. In 1999, between his two runs at UBS, he was hired by Straus for Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management.

“The future of high net worth and ultra-high-net-worth wealth management service is with growth-minded firms like NewEdge,” Pritchett said. “I am thrilled to join Rob, John, and some of my former colleagues in their vision and launch the new Atlanta office.”

Noble’s career began at Charles Schwab, where he traded equities and fixed income before transitioning into wealth management.

EXPANDING FOOTPRINT

NewEdge Wealth has been busy expanding its footprint in recent years, following its launch in December 2020.

In 2023 alone, it added 14 ultra-high-net-worth advisors and opened four offices in Bentonville, Arkansas, the Nashville, Tennessee, area and San Francisco, bringing its total to 10 across the country, plus its headquarters in Stamford, Connecticut.
