Jeff Jones elected chair-elect of NAPFA

Three new directors were elected to the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors' board.

The National Association of Personal Financial Advisors has elected Jeff Jones to serve as its chair-elect in the 2021-22 fiscal year, which begins Sept. 1. He is currently the group’s secretary-treasurer.

Jones is a partner at Longview Financial Advisors in Huntsville, Alabama, and its director of financial planning. Since becoming a fee-only financial planner in 2009, Jones has served on NAPFA’s south region board as symposium chair, president and chair, and then on a national level as a member of the group’s board-level committees on membership and finance.

Elected to the NAPFA board for three-year terms beginning in September were Joni Alt of Hopwood Financial in Reston, Virginia; Laura Barnett Lion of the Chicago-headquartered Mather Group; and Deva Panambur of Sarsi in West New York, New Jersey.
