Conseco delays SEC filing

Insurer Conseco Inc. said Tuesday it will miss its planned filing date for 2008 financial results with the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Insurer Conseco Inc. said Tuesday it will miss its planned filing date for 2008 financial results with the Securities and Exchange Commission. Earlier in March, the company said it would not file its annual report until March 17 because of "unprecedented market conditions." Independent auditors have also raised concerns about company's liquidity. The company said it still expects to file the annual results before March 31.
