Crandall promoted to CEO at MassMutual

Roger W. Crandall was named CEO of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, effective Jan. 1, confirmed MassMutual spokesman Mark Cybulski.

Roger W. Crandall was named CEO of Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance, effective Jan. 1, confirmed MassMutual spokesman Mark Cybulski. He succeeds Stuart H. Reese, who will be non-executive chairman of the board of directors. Mr. Crandall was president and chief operating officer of the company; he will remain president. He previously was chief investment officer at MassMutual, according to the news release. Mr. Cybulski said there are no current plans to fill the COO position.
