Thomas C. Wilson new Allianz risk chief

He will replace Raj Singh, who will take a new position at the Swiss Reinsurance Co.

Thomas C. Wilson is Allianz Group SE’s new chief risk officer, effective Jan. 1, 2008. He will replace Raj Singh, who will take a new position at the Zurich, Switzerland-based Swiss Reinsurance Co. at the end of the year. Mr. Wilson is currently acting as chief insurance risk officer at the Amsterdam, Netherlands-based ING Groep NV. Prior to joining ING in 2005, he was the global head of the Finance and Risk Practice at New York-based Mercer Oliver Wyman. Prior to that, he was the chief financial officer and chief risk officer of Swiss Re New Markets, the capital markets and alternative risk transfer division of Swiss Reinsurance.
