Dodd, Frank to deliver keynote at MarketCounsel summit

APR 02, 2013
MarketCounsel, a business and regulatory consulting firm to independent investment advisers, announced today that former Senate Banking Committee Chairman Christopher J. Dodd, D-Conn., and former House Financial Services Committee Chairman Barney Frank, D-Mass., will deliver a joint keynote address at the firm's annual summit scheduled for Dec. 10-13 in Las Vegas. "We are honored to have these distinguished leaders join us at this year's event,” said Brian Hamburger, founder and managing director of MarketCounsel, in a statement. “We set out to host a conversation among industry leaders and I can think of no other speakers better suited to lead the conversation." On Dec. 10, InvestmentNews will host a pre-conference workshop highlighting the results of its compensation and staffing study. "We are very excited to offer this informative and educational workshop, which highlights one of the most important issues advisers face as they run and grow their practices," InvestmentNews publisher Suzanne Siracuse said in a statement. "MarketCounsel, we believe, is a synergistic partner to help us bring this information to advisers."
