Prospera Financial names Tarah Williams president
Williams, who will continue as chief operating officer, assumes the presidency from David Stringer.

Tarah Williams, the chief operating officer of Prospera Financial Services, a Dallas-based independent broker-dealer, has been promoted to president. Williams, who will continue as chief operating officer, assumes the firm’s presidency from David Stringer, who continues as managing partner and co-CEO with Tim Edwards.

In her new role, Williams will lead the firm’s day-to-day operations. She is a 26-year industry veteran and has been with Prospera since 2007 holding management positions in operations, finance, risk management, recruiting and marketing, Prospera said in a press release.
